Cathedral Cove Lodge Villas - Paradise on the Beach

Hot Water  Beach

Hot Water Beach is one of New Zealand top attractions. hire a spade and dig yourself a hot pool in the sand at low tide. Hot springs under the sand will fill your hot pool with natural, thermal, warm water.

Start digging your pool at Hot Water Beach one hour before low tide. You will have two hours after the low tide or the ebbe to enjoy your hot pool. you will enjoy three hours of fun, depending on the sea and wave conditions and the slope of the beach.

The entire Hot Water Beach is not a thermal area, and only has one spot between two rocks on the beach.

The activity is all year, even in the winter months, days and nights. Its free on a public beach. So check the tide times and your activities plan and book your accommodation at the CATHEDRALCOVE LODGE VILLAS which is only 8km drive or 5 minutes away.
